"kids fundraising by collecting money in buckets @ traffic intersections"

i see it all the time. whether it's the basketball or football team, or some cheerleaders, or a band. you pull up to the light and hear they come with the signs and buckets trying to raise money.

i never thought it was a good idea. besides the safety issues, i don't like the idea of HEY, GIVE ME MONEY CUZ I'M ASKING FOR IT. i prefer the kids hustling candy bars cuz at least they're offering a product. or the kids washing cars are offering a service. it takes start up money to get either of those going and that cuts into funds collected but i like that better than the buckets.

y'all cool with kids bumming money at stop lights?
