I mean I know in general rappers love talking about how much they love their crew and what not but Drake seems a little extra about it.

Part of me think he is overcompensating a bit. On some Drake Doth Protest too much.

Like by the time Outkast started dropping tracks about how they Aquemini and going to be together forever they were probably already splintering and put out the track to squash the rumors. Or like Wu-tang forever dropping before they split up.

Funny thing is I am not ever really sure who Drake is talking about when he is showing love for his crew. OVO or young money? Is there overlap or do they not fuzz with each other? Seems to me he rarely drops names beyond 40, Wayne and Nicki.

I am just wondering because Drake dropped that last album and it seems like it was a contractual obligation and dude is going quiet and I get the feeling he is planning something new on his own and I am wondering if it involves naan people from his young money crew.

BTW, does the all time weakest crew go to Braveheart, the Commission or Lynch Mob? I know it's nice to put your boys on but sometimes crews are pure dead weight on most artist if they are around long enough eventually figure it out and seem to drop them cats.

Nas with a crew just seems wrong. I mean what the fcuk was Bravehearts? Dude is just a dolo type of artist.

J Cole seems like that too. I feel like I never once heard him shot out any sort of crew.
