i had a similar issue...took me 2 months to get my glasses...when they arrive they were screwed up (the anti-reflective/tinting film was peeling)....so I had to wait another 3 weeks for them to be fixed....

VSP was the issue though....not they eye doctor.. VSP claimed the lenses were on backorder...and then they just screwed up applying the film...

VSP won't let the eye-doctor fit frames and lenses...you can only place your order and the eye doctor has to send the frames out to VSP to be assembled into a set of glasses....not sure if other insurers do this or not...
