I ate some okra the other day for the first time in over 30 years. I had it once as a child and decided at that very moment I didn't like it. Never ate it again. Well last week, I bought some, cooked it and was pleasantly surprised. I supposed that as a child I couldn't get past the slimy texture but as an adult, it wasn't bad and the taste was actually very palatable. I'll be having it again.
I also made some zucchini noodles---which paired with some fresh Parmesan cheese, is quickly becoming my new favorite quick meal. >
