Wasn't last year like the blackest Oscars ever?
People are bringing up the old white men stat to explain why whites are the only one's represented. But did the composition of the Academy change overnight?
I think there is a bigger issue here. And that is that there can only be one black, critically acclaimed, award winning movie each year. And we put all our eggs in one basket and get upset when probability works against us.
We need to have more viable entrants in the running for these nominations.
