Not that I think its irrelevant but just wondering where you think it should fit.

For me its a huge international issue which an international coalition should be addressing. The US should definitely be a part of that coalition but I don't think it should be in the lead in which case the only talking point for our politicians should be there willingness to support solutions that the international community is working on.
