In 8th grade, I was an SNL extra. I remember the two sketches they cut for time that week. They rehearsed them and spent money on animating the props (one was a trumpet that shot "vomit", the other was an exploding Donahue head) and then proceeded to just skip those two. They must do that every single week. Nuts.
