I feel like a big part of our jobs as parents/adults is putting a stop to so much generational trauma that's been handed down to us. It's fulfilling to see your own kids not have to deal with certain stuff you had to deal with and disheartening to see some of it passed down or taking down siblings/cousins and their offsprings because they weren't able to deal with it.
You share stories and it just feels like you've come such a long way and admire it, not sure how any of us would have done in such a situation.
Letting go of anger is hard. Some I've managed. Some I haven't. But I do recognize the anger is a weight that helps no one.
Peace God.
