number and I sincerely said “oh they didn’t give me a phone” while holding my personal cell phone. I genuinely did not realize she wanted my personal cell phone number because before that I had had jobs where they gave you work cell phones and the look on her face was hilarious. I ended up giving it to her but I wish I had pushed back on that. I really didn’t need to give that personal my cell phone number. The person really didn’t need to be contacting me if I wasn’t at work. But it was clear to me that that was a culture around there and I just went along with it. Nowadays I don’t go along with stuff, lol.
