And I want to be clear that I'm not outright defending this couple. I'm just saying that I'd be hesitant to judge them outright *just* because they had to give him up.
But, like you, I pause re: the $$ situation and agree 100% with you there. And also agree that they probably should've been better prepared, just based on what we know.
