The always touted 'Brahmin' family, and those proud caste system virtues/values they still seemingly abide by...sometimes punctuated by acknowledgment of her 'Jamaican' (always used to hyphenate his Blackness) father, provide a deliberate buffer between Harris (her family) and Black people.
She wasn't simply tough as a prosecutor, back in the 90's during the era of targeted crime penalties towards Blacks. Through 2010 she continued her stance during a shift towards acknowledgement of justice wrongs and efforts for reconciliation. Her opposition to justice reform is well documented, not just revisionist history. As example, fighting to uphold wrongful convictions after revelations of evidence tampering, false testimony and prosecutor suppression.
She's sacrificed lives of marginalized Black folk, who she presents to be the voice of, for political power. Having done so by pulling base Black constituent heartstrings, through conveniently leveraging a salacious affair, 'Skee-Wee'ing and claiming HU Bison.
