Fair enough. I agree that we shouldn't come to blows (or terrorism, or wars, for that matter) because of our religious beliefs. But the fact that we can't discuss these things openly, as adults seeking some kind of grand objective truth is silly.

I'm good on your beliefs in that I won't attack you for them. But surely we're allowed to disagree? To debate and discuss matters using our shared capacity for reason?
