I invest for myself

and when I get bored of being solo (usually every 3 months), I'll take a consulting gig for a couple of weeks.

Right now, I've been sitting at a lake all morning gathering data on a few investments. The only interruption has been the odd talkative old guy, fine ass woman jogging by distracting me, and the wind picking up. Don't get me wrong, I'm a night person and I'm up each morning at 4:15. And being a night person, I still struggle to get in bed before 1am. Plus, everything is on me.

But working consulting, I can only be in that environment for a few weeks at a time. And my lady stays being stressed out since she up the food chain a little bit.
