Homeboy confronted the CEO directly, how's that weak?
I hear Uber ads on the radio every day in NYC, the effort is to specifically poach TLC drivers from their traditional Car Service companies. Uber explicitly guarantees a weekly income of $1,500, at least initially and insinuates it for the long term. When those numbers never materialize, I've asked every Uber Driver I ride with in the city if that # is a realistic one, and I have never met one who says it is, those people should just be content? The exodus of drivers from Car Services due to Uber's dominance has put plenty of those services out of business. So, for a former TLC Driver who wants to go back to that Car Service after being disappointed with Uber's unfulfilled promises, what recourse is there?
For many, jumping into a new career isn't as easy as you just saying it.
Personally, I see the opposite of cowardice watching that Driver present his issues to Kalanick, the primary person who has the ability to enact change.
