Last minute advice! I'll be in NYC this week on holiday coming from London.

got most of the stuff mapped out that I'm looking to but I've got some questions for OKP's favourite places...what is your advice on:

- Food spots
- Best soul food spots
- What to see in Harlem (most british guides have neglected here)
- Performance venues - so far the Nuyorican poets cafe looks good
- Any extra things for a young couple that the guides wouldn't mention

Extra note, i'm staying in the Lower East Side but happy to travel around
