85. "i'm interested in winning this election, the senate, and in 2018" In response to In response to 80
i know exactly what she's said and how she's framed it. how's it different from what dems have been doing?
and frankly, she would have done all the things people have been praising for EARLIER IN THE DEBATE if she had called him on his lies and got specific about it. china/global warming would have been perfect. All she had to do was say "You tweeted it in 2012."
I don't know why she wasn't prepared to do that, instead of making vague allusions to his lies that 1) aren't enough to shock anyone at this point and 2) ANY OF US could have done. she obviously meant to make it a point because she brought it up in relation to a different topic. why not go all the way in?
The undecideds aren't watching the media today for reaction takes. they're not reading nate silver polls. it was on her to fact check him and to make the case.
she hasn't done enough.
i know, you're interested in acting superior in this threads and you get a kick out of playing it conventional so you can tsk tsk later, but she's been losing ground on polls, and nothing that happened last night is out of line with what's happened over the past month.
