So that alone felt like I accomplished something.

I absolutely felt like I had tons more energy. I remember poppin out of bed just because I felt like going running and I never do that.

Also, it had an impact on my drinking for the rest of the year. I did ever so much less casual drinking. Less drinking out of boredom or habit (A couple of beers on a Saturday afternoon).

Of course as the year is ending I am falling back into old habits but I feel like a January no booze would be resetting the clock for the year.
