Nothing will SOLVE this - they're will always be terrorists - and for the foreseeable future they will be offshoot cults based on Islam. (EVERY religion goes through this phase, and it is cyclical. And we have plenty of crazy off shoot cults of Christianity in the US - mainstream Islam is about as good/bad as mainstream Christianity.)

(No problem is ever completely solved when humans are in the equation - we have a lot of cops, but still have crime.)

There's no way to get people out of this ideology - they're brains have been put into a state where complete victory or complete annihilation are the only options.

It's like when you hear that someone killed all their pets, their entire family, and then shot themselves - that's the biological brain state they're in. But these particular cults goals' include putting people into that state.

Shit, we have razy Christian militias here in the US that could easily go into that direction - but at least in the US they aren't quite their yet. (We know they're secretly watching the Kardasiahns reality show, and Antiques Roadshow, etc. They're not closed off like some of these cults in the middle east.) (And yes, I realize that they terrorize the locals - just like ISIS does.)

We could prevent some of it by blanketing the world with knowledge - that all of their gods are bullshit and what they're following is a club with rules. Some clubs have rules I like more than others. But their club's rules are fucking crazy. (But "our" club's wouldn't allow knowledge to be spread.)

Again, this is a CULT we're dealing with. And the problem will never be SOLVED - just lessened.
