I want to buy an audio cd of one of his books for someone. Which one would you recommend first, then second?
I read that Lost in the City and All Aunt Hagars's Children- the characters are related. Would it matter to read Lost first?

I'm reading The Known World finally. Started it years ago, but I didn't grasp his style at first... now I'm getting into it.

It's a gift and I don't think this person knows about Jones, but I'd like to put her on to him. Audio cd though.
