I just watched the video for Three 6 Mafia - 2 way freak.

The song is about two way pagers, but I have no idea what they are talking about.
I'm trying to put together context clues and it ain't happening.
How do they work? 2-way as opposed to 3-way? 4-way?
"Beamed" my number? Say what now?

DJ Paul broke down the billing situation. So that I get. Everything else makes no sense to me.
