Forcing someone out of their car, with no justifiable means, because they didn't put a cigarette out. That's legal? The arresting office doesn't have to be charged with anything. But I bet my last dollar her family is gonna get a big settlement from the state in civil court for this. At the end of the day she stated that she had attempted suicide before and there should not have been anything in the cell that she could have used to kill herself. Any institution usually takes particular precautions in this type of situation to reduce their liability in the event something like this occurs. The jail fucked up and that's why going forward they are not going to use the plastic bags in the trash can in cells. The jail is completely liable for her death.
