i don't see any of the other professional leagues abusing IR like the NBA.
they're trying too hard to 'get it right' and i don't think that concern is worth so much stoppage of play - especially when it results in extra time-out. human error in officiating is a part of the game - even w/all of the IR at some point a human has to make a judgment call. unless the league wants to switch to cameras and computers making these calls (see: professional tennis) we have to live w/a certain amount of human error.
