I know that it sounds silly, especially to okps living out of NYC(I just moved to cali like five minutes ago).....but I HATE people concentrating on Gentrified BK or "Bejewled BK" like its the only part. a lot of the hipsters are moving to the not so safe part of bedstuy already......but for affordable BK....why not beat people to the punch and go to east ny? It is already changing. Brownsville, which is right by the trendy weeksville heritage center is cheaper.......and then sunset park still has somewhat affordable corners. Flatbush is still not THAT expensive.

Yes, I know that you guys looking to live in BK are looking for the five minutes from Williamsburg, where are the young white people, where is the salvation army part of bk. but if you truly want the bk experience, stop worry about where 2 broke girls and girls hang out.

If you are a young professional and you want that decent neighborhood that you can walk around at night, go to bayside queens. go to corona. go to Jackson heights. These are truly ethnic parts of NYC that haven't been sucked dry of their culture ......yet.

follow me @oldirtyplaster on the Twitter thing.....i say awesome stuff
