The assumption that Islam is monolithic and homogenous enough to be able to reject any group en masse is ridiculous and loaded.

The further assumption that a fringe group of armed nutbags legitimately represent one billion peoples' faith is insulting and ridiculous.

It's like saying the Westboro Baptist Church reps all Christians.

And I love how it's 'Muslims' like there isn't massive diversity in the ummah, and they vote as a single bloc with homogenous opinions.
