even the most experienced foster homes deal with a wide variety of issues that come along with sheltering. every dog has a unique personality, as well as history that may/may not present challenges for the foster parents. unlike full adoption, fostering never really gives you the time to truly get comfortable. there's a rhythm to fostering that's essential to a stress free environment.
and yes, its never really easy to see them leave. even the most mischievous dog can warm your heart on a bad day.
