I fit into your exception. I'm waiting for my munchkin to get the hang of this potty training so that she can start pre-K (she'll be 3 this March). I'm also trying to get my personal training certification so I can do my internship and get back to work. I enjoy being at home with my daughter, but I also have my own dreams and goals and working is one of those.
I will say that being home with my daughter has helped her in ways that I didn't imagine. There is something about learning from a parent. And, then there is the time I get to spend with her that is so valuable. I wouldn't have wanted to miss it. And, I'm glad that my hubby agreed that this was best.
