8. "Ransom White dude changed my flat tier." In response to In response to 0
T'was 1995, and I was heading back to base at Ft. Gordon one night when my right front tire EXPLODED. I thought it was THE END.
I pulled over so that I could change the tier and the road was pitch black. So, I was out in the night trying to change the tier and all of a sudden a pick-up truck rolled up on me with the light beaming. A White dude got out and asked if I was Ok.
I told him what happened and I guess that he could tell that i was still shook about the explosion.
I was still trying to get the lugs off when he came over and offered a hand. He talked about how crazy it was that no one stopped to help me in the dark.
Next thing I know, dude had taken all of the lugs off and put the spare on, shook my hand, told me to be safe and dipped.
I was grateful and I've never looked at random White Help ever the same,
