start cubase first.
then start reason, and GET RID OF THE MIXER in reason, and keep the audio interface, the thing that says "audio out" on it.
reason should then automatically be rewired to cubase.
open a new project in cubase, empty.
Then add one midi track in cubase.
now swith to reason.
Open something like subtractor. Patch the output of subtractor to port 3 the audio interface.
Switch back to cubase.
go under the devices menu and choose reason
power on channel 3.
switch bact to the midi track you create and change the output from "microsoft gs wavetable" or whatever the heck, to the reason subtractor 1 or whatever.
Create a clip in the midi track, drawn in some notes, and play.
You should hear stuff.
Rinse and repeat.........
Works good with the samplers in reason too (nn-xt and nn19)
Peace.
