"Reason and Ableton no long recognizes my Axiom keyboard"

Maybe someone could help. Sunday after not using it for about a couple of days, turned it on and saw that the NULL and Zone Group were lit. Unplugged and re-plugged the USB from the keyboard and computer. The two aren't lit anymore. Good.

Turned it on and Reason doesn't recognize it. Did the "search for controller" and says there is no driver
Tried Ableton and nothing.

What I've done:
Uninstall and reinstall the drivers
Updated (ha!) the drivers from the website
Restore the Computer to a previous date (which it "couldn't" do, supposedly)
The only new program added was a Java Update

Any ideas?
Should I just reinstall the programs?

(even the Reason 4 Demo doesn't recognize the Axiom when it did before)

Be fearless...

Welcome back. See ya next season.
