"I want to produce at home, what do I need?"
Fri Oct-27-06 01:33 PM by PanicManic

I've been playing around with FL and ACID Pro

What can I do as a starter to get a better sound and also something that will allow me to be limitless in regards to what sounds I can use (i.e. I'm somewhat limited to the FL preset sounds)

Software-wise, obviously I have no limit on my budget =)

But in terms of equipment what are good starter tools to create a full "Home Studio"? I don't really have a buget here because I don't have any idea how much anything costs. But I assume I'll need a drum machine, maybe a synthesizer, mic, etc.

So if anyone could, please design a low budget home studio. I'm looking to start purchasing w/in the month.

Any input is greatly appreciated

Also, any books w/ techniques and intro would be great.
