I'd much wrather have the tapes 'cause you atleast get the original artwork on the cover, and they aren't as edited.
I got so HYPED when I found "Shaolin & Wu-Tang" on dvd, 'cause I even posted when they were going to release it, and so much was off the screen. I'm like "Damn, the bootleg VHS floating around years ago was widescreen, and this isn't".
I bought the dvd of "World of Drunken Master", and it wasn't even overdubbed...just subtitles.
The VHS bootleg I got in '95 was in English. I don't mind subtitles, but in grimy copies, sometimes the words run off the screen.
Like I said about "8 Diagram"...what POSSESSED them to cut out the ILLEST part in the flick? It was like 4 seconds long??
