I saw it yesterday and liked it quite a bit. There are three independent parts to the movie that come together with pretty much one scene; I liked the first and third a lot, but didn't like the second very much at all. The movie is close to 3hrs long and I personally could have just done without the second part altogether, as the other two were quite powerful by themselves. The editing in the first part was excellent and some of the music that was used went along with the scenes superbly (Control Machete - Mexican hiphop group). Some critic in the paper said something to the effect of "After you see this film, you'll see the world in a different light." I think that is giving the film WAY too much credit; however, I did like it better than the majority of other shit that comes out. I don't want to say too much about it until others have seen it though, so I'll stop here. Peace.
