i never read it during its original run, but i've been catching up on it of late...
some aspects of it are slightly dated to me at this point (nothing major... just the pacing and the "denseness" of the text seem very odd in these decompressed times) but i can see why it was kinda revolutionary during the 90s. especially since it was a regular DCU title and not Vertigo, but has a certain maturity and singularity of vision to it.
