I actually liked the idea of women turning the tables on a man and whoring him out. But this thread, like many that were introduced in the film, was abandoned in favor of those lame flashbacks to cats dancing around the Watergate hotel in Tricky Dick masks and a tenuous, fishing line thin, barely-hanging-on connection between John Henry whateverhisnamewas and the guard from Watergate. Come on.

We got it, Spike. Money corrupts. And it corrupts so bad that when things get really, really tough, fictional characters can compare themselves to actual figures and we're supposed to go, Hey, man, that's heavy. The System SUCKS. Err... no.

And don't get me started on the women. The only halfway likeable woman in the entire piece is the nerdy lesbian with glasses, one of the first that he fucks. Ellen Barkin mumbled 3/4 of her lines. Kerry Washington was a mess. Paula Jai Parker? Wow. Danica Ramirez was/is pretty, though. And I think I was supposed to be HOWLING with laughter at the scenes such as the one where little John Henry (oh, the irony) gets tossed around by the BIG WHOMPIN' LESBIAN. Err... no.

And explain to me again why John just HAD to fuck these women to impregnate them? Why he couldn't just do his thing in a cup and sell it off? Was it because Q-Tip's sperm count was low and Jonh got paranoid about his own?

And that ending. Are you kidding me? "Hey, let's all be together, one big happy family, the two lesbos and the bore." Err... what? We were supposed to buy that John Henry's love for this lipstick lesbian, the same woman he had walked in on with another woman, the same woman who had for a better part of two hours manipulated this dude into whoring himself, was so strong that he was willing to accept her and her Dominican lover just to have her back? Bull and shit.

Spike had to have been making a 2 1/2 hour gag reel for shits and giggles.
