yeah, i dig a fair amt of that foreign/arthouse type shit and i'm sure you do too. i've always gotten the sense that yr issue isn't w/ the flix themselves, but the ppl who act like that's the only "right" way to do it. i agree the whole "coffeehouse dissection" bit can get a little extra.
cosign on the wack hoes. lol. and the cism.
>>i'm pretty passionate abt the film thing. i read the trade >>journals + shit. all that. > >Wow. Serious. yeah man. i'm a heavy reader. stay up in the library/bookstores. wide variety of interests.

nah, strictly amateur. i would like to get into some indie production eventually (i got some homeboys/girls for college that're doing some big things in that vein) but that's back burner status for now.
i'm also thinking abt taking some visual fx classes @ some point (i'm a computer/software dood by trade)

gotta have that diversity, man.
got that for ma dukes, she had a niggy moving in all types of different social circles from a young age.
shit, i taught high school for 4 yrs. heart of the fucking ghetto. i had days where i had to sit down + chop it up w/ a group of hardcore career criminal inmate niggas from the "scared straight" program and then turn around + pitch a room full of ivy league intellectual mofos for a grant for a new computer lab. haha.
it is what it is. nowadays, brothers gotta be "bilingual" by nature.
