If you are "proud" of your "race", then you (in reality) are proud of a fictional group of people that do not exist. If you think race implies culture, then you are also sadly mistaken (that is something altogether different). Race (scientifically and socially) implies that there is a superior group with which the other "races" cannot interbreed. Race basically means sub-species. Sub-species implies hierarchy and superiority. Race, according to the concept most of society practices, allows for a mythical "white" race to have superiority and control. So, according to this thinking, "whites" are allowed to have "racial" pride just because they are a "race", just because the love their "own"? There is something fundamentally flawed with your logic. Think about this: there are no races. None. Only cultures. "Racial" pride makes you a racist, and even worse, in tacit support of the so-called "whites'" idea of racial superiority. Please refrain from buying into this lie. I'm still amazed that so many people continue to perpetrate this ignorance (and call it consciousness)...........
