I GOT BEEF WITH THAT CUZ IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT HIGH SCHOOL YOU GO TO. THERE IS A HIGH SCHOOL HERE WITH A STEEL DRUM CORPS. COUNTLESS HIGH SCHOOLS THAT HAVE A MAJORITY AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDENT BODY WITH MARCHING BANDS RESEMBLING THOSE AT HBCUs. GO TO CHORAL COMPETITIONS AND SING "ELIJAH ROCK"( A SPIRITUAL MIND YOU) AND BAND COMPETITIONS SPECIFICALLY CATERED FOR HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ BANDS. ALL THIS IN CHICAGO, WHERE SOME SCHOOLS HAVE TAKEN OUT MUSIC IN THEIR CURRICULUMS
