The jury hasn't come with a verdict for that one. but, you can always check out any of Patrick Chamoiseau's work...I really like him. There's Junot Diaz's book Drown, very good. I liked Tuff by Paul Beatty. Gayl Jones's Song for Anninho is looooovely (of course, I'm biased, I really like her work.) 9 Plays by Black Women is really nice. I enjoyed Understand This by Jervey Tervalon. etc. etc.etc.
