as frightful as it is, genetically altered food has been in the grocery stores for a while. until recently, the makers of these foods were not required to show that their foods had been genetically altered. supposedly, it is now required by government that there should be a label or something on these foods, but then again, its the government, and we all know how that goes. in finding all this out for a biology class, and doing further research, the effects of all these genetically altered foods have a chance of a bad impact on health, and not much is known about genetics at all, in any area, so the side effects are yet to be fully known of. organically grown foods are said to be safe, and because we cant all have our own farms, all we can do is be careful.
