people look for comfort and security. you want to know that you can trust the person you're with to be with you forever, so you can relax and trust doesn't have to be an issue.

if a woman is secure within herself and her relationship, she doesn't need to worry about her man eyeing other women. but if she's not secure about herself or her relationship, she sees roving eyes or attractive women as threats to either or both her family and her trust.
