1)Lacking nothing essential to the whole; complete of its nature or kind.
this is the definition most people are surprised to hear. when somehing lacks nothing essential to the all/whole/essence, then one is perfect and as ya Setshego said last night to me "everbody in that respect is perfect." HOWEVERY as much as people ideally identify with "god/perfect being/the all" most still have the stigma of seeing themselves as imperfect or sinners. a chiold told it is essentially sinful and "we're all sinners" will act as such even while aspiring to be "good". someone told that they are perfect/divine (as our ancestors communicated) will not aspire to perfcetion but try to MAINAIN that status. So instead of battling within "to be good" (reaching up to god) we strive not to fall from grace (act/behave/live in a non-divine way). now some words from a modern griot:
"we just don't act divine, WE ARE!"
