gotta admit, it is interesting to read about the threads about racism, capitalism and afrocentrism, specially when people be telling their different opinions. And because i am 16 living in Europe (i'm what some of you call "white") and still got alot to learn about everything, it is a real history lesson to me sometimes.

i think it's good the okayplayers talk about it. But sometimes when someone get to the conclution that Capitalism = Whites = Devil, it scares me..! When someone say that black is superior because they're closer to mother earth i say to myself "let them think what they want to think, as long as they are happy". ive even read that africans have a special connection (a light) connected with the true source in the universe that I don't have! that is when i choose not to say anything back.

but when those posters say those who arent as good as they are because of their race - it's a bad path to be going. racism.. and.. it confuses and disapoints me thinking that those words come from people who like the same music i like.

Makes me wonder, what if i would meet black thought one day - if he would respect me. What if all he saw was "Devil", "White" and "Capitalism".

I gotta admit, you scare me sometimes.
