Jay-Z wore that Che Guevera t-shirt probably because
1)it looked good. it's obviously not your print shop run off. looks like a brand to me.
2)he wanted to intentionally prove a point i.e. can't judge a book by the cover.

Che might have actually liked Jay-Z if he were still alive. Or at least he would definitely not see him as the enemy. Let's not forget that all Che wanted to do was spread the wealth around. Jay-Z got his wealth with his own sweat. It was not passed down to him like members of the aristocratic classes in Cuba at that time.

If Che's mandate was to empower the oppressed classes, Jay-Z definitely qualifies.

p.s. what Jay-Z choses to rap about is a whole other issue. But let's just say he is selling a product and people are buying it.
