One of my favorite things he mentioned was a story of observing. He told of a time in KMT when some of the people slept in the day and were awake at night. These people observed the stars and after endless nights of looking to the sky began to understand the motion and dance of the celestial bodies. They eventually found out the the flooding of the river Hapi (nile) coincided with the setting of a certain star...These people then went on to the common people and because of the scarcity of the type of knowledge they had, told the people that god revealed through them the time of the flood...the masses believed them and the small group of "knowers" profitted off their kowledge instead of sharing itwith the rest. This was the origin of mysticism an belief in the "imaginary" based off of common observances. Much like certain groups claim some kind of mystical "divine" revelations and exclude all else. These "excluive" groups are around for small groups to exploit the masses (mentally/physically/whatever) and keep control of whatever it is they seek to control (minds/body/history/knowledge of true self). At this point in the game they have become traditions ingrained so deep that to see the light of truth remains an incredible obstacle for most...
