True.. most af-ams today hasn't got any relatives they know of leading back to their roots in Africa (remember ?uest finding out he didn't exist). They are more bonded to America than Africa. Most are Americans, not Afro-Americans in my eyes. So I can understand why most don't feel that urge to go back to mother Africa, because they're not Africans. Spiritually, I believe you can become more Africa (like Talib Kweli), but as long as you live in the American culture, you'll get a helluva cultural shock when first meeting the African culture (it's so stressed down it can stress someone out). Those are my ideas..
