First, If both were in their primes, who would win? and why? I was thinking about this the other day as I watched Ali fight George Foreman. George was hitting HARD, and I mean HARD. Ali took all of Foremans punches, held back, then we he felt the time was right he put George on the mat. Obviously this is no new news, but it just amazes me no matter how many times I watch it.(I have the Ali dvd, 3 full fights) Could any of todays boxers do something like this? Could any of todays boxers hit as hard as Foreman? Would any be as patient as Ali? Are todays boxers better? worse? Do they train the same way? I'll hold back with my thoughts and comments for a minute, what do you think? and who else is waiting for knockout kings 2001 on ps2??
