In the midst of The Prophecy unveiling itself in the form of a Cleveland Renaissance, Kang's return has fueled newborn agendas that pit true Bron fans against true Cav fans.
I say enough of this non-sense: unite the 7 Kangdoms.
Us true Bron fans - whose loyalty is not wholly contingent upon whether James chooses to play for Dan Gilbert or Mickey Arison - will not pretend that we are lifelong Cavs fans, just as we didn't pretend we were lifelong Heat fans.
In return, we know you won't pretend like you didn't try to desecrate the name, persona, and reputation of your Returned King, buying old, weathered James jerseys off e-bay on some "I still got my original! I'm a true fan!" in an attempt to hide the fact that you - as a grown man - burned jerseys and cursed the Kang name simply because Cleveland couldn't surround James with anyone but Antawn Jamison and Mo Williams - and like all great Messiahs, yours had to go on an exploratory journey to bring the gold back home.
So - air out your franchise v. player stannery in here. Because the era of the Cleveland Renaissance will be one this league has never seen before...starting in just a couple months. And I'd like to to unite the Houses of Kang with the Houses of Cav - because as stated when observing James in a luke-warm scene at AA Arena in Miami during a regular season game last year..."I bet he can't wait to return home and feel the electricity of the Cleveland fans again."
