Baseball -- Mike Young was a multi-talented CF/LF who really only had one great year in the mid '80s, but was a whole lot of fun to watch. Mickey Tettleton...the fruit loop man ruled. Mike Greenwell...I don't even know why I liked him, but I did.
Basketball -- Jeff Malone...only obscure by today's standards, but not in the late '80s/early /'90s. Derrick and Cedric Lewis...Undersized University of Maryland big men who were tremendous shot blockers. Matt Roe...transfered from Syracuse to Maryland and was part of a BIG backcourt with Walt Williams Tony Massenberg...okay, I could just go on listing old Terps. Byron Dinkins...I think he played for UNC-Charlotte in the late '80s. He was an exciting SG.
Football -- Alvin Walton...hit like a truck and had a mohawk. Gary Clark...tough little WR Clint Didier...TE for the Skins was ahead of his time in terms of speed and receiving skills.
I could go on and on....
