"NPM Lesson 2: Parody"

Parody
A parody is humorous imitation of someone else's writing style. In poetry, the poet often takes the shape of the original poem and changes some or most of the words. Sometimes this is done to mock the original poet's way of writing, but at other times it's just a way of having fun.

Excellent Example:

*additional examples: ANY Weird Al Yankovic songs...they're songs...but lyrically serve the same purpose as a poem.
