i think love is over.....rated
love is over...then we rade it
we rate it

biz marquee said the bridge is over
boys to men called it the end of the road
musiq tried to have a conversation with her
but Aaron Neville asked her to just: Tell it Like it Is...

Love
is the power to let go of the past and be with what is
it's the freedom of letting others give
even if a complete understanding of what it looks like
is invisible... u just don't know...

i have no purpose other than to love
and sometimes it hurts
cuz sometimes i think that love has to look a certain way
but when i try to change her
it burns
it cries
it chokes fights breaks free and then it dies
because of me

i have no rhyme or reason
no formula no structure or rule to follow
love isn't something you plan for or evaluate
its something you take in and accept
or let it go and manifest
let it comfort you
and help you Be the Best

i'm speaking of that mellow love
soft head planted between milk-filled breasts
the love that nourishes babes hunger and thirst
bruising burnt-almond nipples
sucking
til there's nothing left
but rest...

i'm talkin bout that hungry love
that
can't sleep til you go to sleep while im on the phone
love
that
you should name me different when introducing me to yr friends
kinda love
that
i love your deeper than i let you know cuz i'm scared you might
love me back love

that love is pure
this love is free
but love stays censored by our past perceptions and analogies
can never get the true YOU or true ME
to
busy
conjuring up excuses
why you wouldn't couldn't shouldn't
but should toobad u didn't or don't know if u could
love me for me bullsht.
love is so uncomplicated and i can't stand it
cuz
the nature of being human
is centering all things around self
and self-control
fk the knowledge of god and connection of all
through breath-life-earth-water and (fire) soul
my goal

is to love til love asks for time out
love til love puts her white flag up for surrender
love til life says "get a room" in eternity cuz
folk can't handle that real sht.
